Falling Off the Merry-Go-Round
Released: October 2002
Produced by: David Stagl with Joe Kasko

This is my first full-length release. It rocks. I love it. Since this is my first real record, I went all out. It's big. It's full. It rocks.

I didn't want to just put out a collection of songs. I wanted the album to be one piece of work. Falling Off the Merry-Go-Round isn't just the title; it's the theme of the record. These songs are about growing up and the bumps in the road along the way. It's about how you pull through and sometimes fall short. It's about life.

I recorded sporadically for about two years releasing EPs/work-in-progress along the way. The bulk of the album was recorded between March and June of 2002. I worked in a lot of different studios including my own, Perfect Sound(Bolingbrook, IL), and Studio Chicago. The album features a full band made up of some really good friends of mine who happen to be incredibly talented musicians. We took our time, consumed large quantities of Oberweis ice cream, and made the record I always wanted to make.
